Ultrasound Gel (250ml)
Ultrasound Gel is water soluble. Non-greasy and will not irritate tissues or injure the ulasound applicator or electrodes. It spreads easily and evenly and is an efficient coupling medium for ultrasound transmission.
Better sound transmission, distinctive image display, no toxic and irritant effect, no damage and corrosion to the ultrasound probe.
Chemical Composition: Polymer, humectants, water, approved food color, perfume and preservatives.

Ultrasound Gel usage
The use of ultrasound gel has more to do with eliminating the power loss at the air-tissue interface.
Also used in coupling the sensor material (not metal/plastic, but the piezoelectric crystal itself) to the soft tissue.
Technical characteristics:
- Active ingredients are completely soluble in water
- Drying rate is adequately humectant so that half the moisture is lost in not less than 90 minutes at 37C with the product exposed
- Non corrosive (Salt and Chlorine free)
- Odourless
- Non sticky
- Non staining
